Security Notifications

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning such as Windows protected your PC. This can happen while Microsoft Defender builds reputation for a new Windows installer.
We are in contact with Microsoft’s security team to review VidLog and resolve this warning. VidLog records your screen and registers mouse/keyboard activity only while recording.
To continue:
  1. Confirm you downloaded VidLog from the Visora Downloads page.
  2. Click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway.
Only continue if the installer came from the official Visora Downloads page.

User Account Control

Windows will show a User Account Control prompt asking whether you want to allow VidLog or the VidLog installer to make changes to your device. Click Yes. VidLog requires Administrator privileges so it can reliably record screen, keyboard, mouse, and audio activity during approved sessions, including games or apps that also run as Administrator.
You may see a UAC prompt when launching VidLog, not just when installing it.
When you click Open or Download VidLog from Visora, your browser may ask whether it should open a vidlog:// link. Choose Open VidLog.

Confirm Setup

After VidLog opens, make sure you are signed in. Then return to your Visora task and click Open or Download VidLog again if needed. VidLog will record and upload eligible sessions automatically through the desktop app.
